here's one thing I can tell you about food
I’ve always been fascinated by art and science of food. To me, food is at the intersection of curiosity and pleasure. Curiosity has taken me to study what it means to people. Pleasure has led me to experiment and indulge in moments of pure appreciation.
I grew up in a family where muchas cosas, almost everything, happened around food. Over the years, I watched my mom pass me recipes that she learned from her mom, who learned from her mom, who learned from her mom, and so on. Some recipes changed over time to catch up with new trends or costumes. Others remained the same for decades. That’s food ethos, the set of characteristics of a person, place or society. And there is no right or wrong.
I invite you to go down the path of fooding with me, where I write about the making, cooking, buying, and eating. I hope these chronicles spark both curiosity and pleasure in your life; or to say the least, keep you up to date on my observations about modern-life, and occasional inspiration to spice things up.
In the meantime, tell your friends!
